2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

As a  parent of an Academy A.R.T.S. student you are automatically part of the Parent Teacher Organization and part of the academy community. The PTO is here to nurture a school community of active and engaged parents and foster a volunteer culture.

The PTO sponsors and organizes events, assists the A.R.T.S. program in purchasing new supplies, supplements Continuing Education for staff, and supports repairs and updates to the Academy’s building and programs.

The PTO is proud to assist the Academy, and we cannot achieve this without the help of volunteers and donations. Last school year, we raised $9,300 through donations and fundraising events, the highest amount ever raised. This will fund new materials in the Downstairs and Upstairs classrooms and contribute to a new floor in the Creative Movement Room. Additionally, we continue to support the “Greening the Academy” initiative which include installation of interior storm windows to improve efficiency. This year our fundraising goal is $9,500. Consider helping us kickstart our fundraising this year by making a monetary donation, purchasing Academy A.R.T.S. T-shirts, Bags, and Academy Lawn Signs, or purchasing your tickets now for our Annual Soiree & Silent Auction in January 2018. Checks should be made payable to “Academy A.R.T.S. PTO.”
